Hearing
Aid Fitting and Dispensing
When a person is identified with a hearing loss, they have many
options in correcting the loss, dependant upon the type and degree of
loss. Often, patients choose to use a hearing aid to amplify the
incoming acoustic signals so they are better able to respond to their
acoustic environment. The Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic at
Missouri State offers services in counseling, fitting, dispensing, and fixing
hearing aids. As an educational setting, we are able to offer an
array of choices when it comes to hearing aids, by type and
manufacturer. Currently, we offer Resound, Sonovation, SeboTek,
MicroTech, Oticon, Phonak,
Siemens, Starkey, and other top-of-the-line hearing aids. External
